Philomena "Florence" Scandone

Philomena A. “Florence” (Muscarelli) Scandone passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Bridgeport, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Scandone was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, both in Bridgeport. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting but her favorite thing was taking care of her grandchildren. Born in Norristown, PA on May 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Madeleine (DiNardo) Muscarelli; and the wife of the late Onorio “Elmer” G. Scandone, who died in 2011. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Diane Mason; two sons, Carmen A. Scandone and his wife, Linda, and Charles Scandone and his wife, Suzanne; five grand-children: Charles Jr. (Daina), Danielle, Amanda (Richard), David and Madeleine; and three great-grandchildren: Connor, Gianna & Maisie. Relatives & friends are invited to Philomena’s Graveside Service at St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00 am.
