Phoebe L. (Locke) Weaver

Phoebe L. (Locke) Weaver passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 83. Phoebe was a resident of Audubon, PA. She worked as a Math Teacher for the Lower Merion Area School District for 27 years, until her retirement in 1986. Phoebe was a member of AARP and a life member of NEA, PSEA, AST, Lock Haven University Alumni and Penn State Alumni Association. Born in Lock Haven, PA on August 23, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Marietta (Best) Locke. She was the wife of the late David B. Weaver, Jr., who died in 2009. Surviving is her loving family including a sister-in-law, Teresa C. Locke of Lock Haven, PA; 2 nephews, Lee and Bill Locke; a niece, Kim Myers; and 2 great-nephews, David Myers & Adam Locke.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
