Phyllis (Forsyth) Deemer, 86 Homemaker, Hospital Volunteer Phyllis (Forsyth) Deemer, beloved wife of W. Robert Deemer, passed away at Mercy Suburban Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Phyllis was born in Norristown, PA on April 13, 1926 and lived there and in West Norriton throughout her life. A graduate of Norristown High School, she attended Taylor Business School and worked briefly for Philip Carey's in Plymouth Meeting before leaving to raise her family. She was a devoted volunteer for over twenty years in the Emergency Room at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown and enjoyed shopping, playing bridge and reading mysteries. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bob Deemer, son Brett A. Deemer, daughter Hollly Deemer Rogerson, granddaughters Shelley Blake and Jill Cunningham, and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at 11 a.m. at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church in Eagleville, PA. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the supervision of Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home.
