Phyllis A. Orimenko

Phyllis A. (Gibi) Orimenko passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Arden Courts Assisted Living in King of Prussia, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Orimenko was a resident of King of Prussia. She worked for many years as a telephone operator. Phyllis was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. She enjoyed shopping, bowling, singing and dancing. She was a dedicated mother who raised a strong, independent family. Phyllis’ motto was “love of family, strength in faith, joy of music”. Born in Hornell, NY on May 10, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Biagio and Rosa (Rialli) Gibi. She was the wife of the late Harry P. Orimenko, who died in 2005. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Martin P. Orimenko and his wife, Traci, of Ardmore, PA; three daughters: Judith A. Foust of Orlando, FL, Jean D. Patrick of Malvern, PA and Janis M. Abrahamsen of Douglassville, PA; nine grandchildren: Adam (Tracy), Aaron, Kara (Brian), Scott, Steven, Christian (Kelly), Kathryn, Alex and Lilah; five great-grandchildren: Kate, Will, Jaden, Joel and Jack, and twin great-grandchildren on the way; two sisters, Lucy (Vinny) Julian of Tonawanda, NY and Angie VanAllen of Hornell, NY; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Gibi; and a sister, Rose Julian. Relatives & friends are invited to Phyllis’ Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ memory to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
