Pietro Addalli

Pietro Addalli died suddenly in his home on Friday, April 20, 2018. He was 80. Mr. Addalli was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a factory worker for Wonder Bread in Norristown until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a present parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Swedesburg, PA. Born in Carini Provence of Palermo, Sicily on September 1, 1937, he was a son of the late Sebastiano and Rosa (Pollani) Addalli. Pietro enjoyed hunting with his children, traveling, visiting the casinos, and the beach. He had a passion for gardening, especially caring for his fig tree. Most of all, his heart was happiest when he was around the true loves of his life, his grandchildren. Mr. Addalli is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 55 years, Maria (Vittoriani) Addalli; 2 sons, Sebastian Addalli and his wife Amy of Collegeville, PA, and Frank Addalli and his wife Tracy of East Greenville, PA; a daughter Rosa Scialla and her husband Gene of North Wales, PA; 8 grandchildren: Danielle, Brianna, Sophia, Nicole, Vincent, Alex, Angelo, and Dominic; one great-granddaughter, Ava; one brother Girolamo Addalli and his wife Anna of Bridgeport, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Pietro was preceded in death by a brother, Sebastiano and two sisters, Antonina and Rosalia. Friends and relatives are invited to Pietro’s Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 at 11 AM. His viewing will be from 9 to 10:45 AM at the church. Entombment will follow immediately after at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
