Raffaele Corcione

Raffaele Corcione passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence in Philadelphia, PA. He was 89. Mr. Corcione worked as a tailor for many years. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Philadelphia. Raffaele was an avid soccer fan. Born in Naples, Italy on January 14, 1932, he was a son of the late Antonio and Candida (Romano) Corcione. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Giovanna Corcione; a daughter, Candida Corcione of Royersford, PA; 3 grandchildren: Sarah Lamnin, Abigail Lamnin and her finance, Christian Houser, and Phillip Lamnin; 1 great-grandchild, Halle Houser; and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Relatives & friends are invited to Raffaele’s viewing at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10 to 10:45 am; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. The Mass will be livestreamed starting at 11am. The webcast can be found on Raffaele’s Tribute Wall at www.bacchifh.com and click live webcast. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, East Norriton, PA. Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Raffaele’s memory to the American Stroke Association, 5455 N.
