Ralph Hall Sheppard

Ralph Hall Sheppard passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 76. Mr. Sheppard was a resident of Jeffersonville, PA and a member of Haws Avenue United Methodist Church in Norristown, PA. Ralph worked for Visteon Division of Ford Electronics in N. Wales, Pa, the former Phoenix Iron and Steel Co. in Phoenixville, PA and also Handy & Hamon Tube Co. in E. Norriton, PA. He was a life time member of the VFW Nuss O'Hara Todd Post 1804, serving all positions including Quartermaster and Commander. Ralph was a US Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving from 1951 to 1954.Born in Norristown, PA on December 17, 1932, he was a son of the late Ralph and Ina K. (Hall) Sheppard. Surviving are his loving family including a son, Ralph W. Sheppard and his wife, Nancy of Collegeville, PA; a daughter, Jo Ann Donahue and her husband, David of Skippack, PA; 5 grandchildren: Brendan, Kailey, Samuel and Trace Donahue and Zachary Sheppard; and a long time companion, Mary Battisto. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ina Rhoades. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral service at Haws Avenue United Methodist Church, 800 W. Marshall St., Norristown, PA on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11:00am. Officiating will be Rev. Tracy L. Bass, pastor. Friends may call Friday morning 10 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to Haws Ave. United Methodist Church, 800 W.
