Obituary

Raymond L. Gaugler, 62 of Boyertown, passed away on August 20, 2026 following a brief illness.

He is the son of the late William L. Gaugler (Peg) and Bertha McAuley (Walt).

He is survived by daughters Kimberly and Rayanne, siblings Barb, Billy, Mary (David) and Sal (Brenda), stepsister Rosemary (Mike), stepbrother Eddie, Aunt Mary, Uncle Bobby and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend and fishing buddy, Davey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and stepbrother Eric.

Ray worked for many years with Dohler Jarvis and continued to help many others with his masonry skills after his retirement.

Ray's passion was the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outside, looking for arrowheads or walking in the woods. He considered the woods his "church." He won many fishing tournaments over the years and had the reputation of "being the guy to beat!"

Ray was our gentle giant. He was kind, sweet and generous and will be so missed by his family and friends.

At Ray's request there will be no services and the family will have a celebration in the fall.

To honor his memory-go fishing or take a walk in the woods.
