Raymond C. Schmale

Raymond C. Schmale of Pottstown, PA, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was 67. Raymond was employed at DEC of Pottstown, last working on April 21st. Born in Pottstown, PA on September 27, 1949, he was a son of the late Walter D. and Ruth C. (Reigel) Schmale. Surviving are three brothers: Ronald E. of Pottstown, Harold R. of Virginia and Thomas of Birdsboro; two sisters, Susan Prizer of Douglassville and Linda L. Wilde of Schwenksville; and a half-sister, Ruth Sapp of Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L. Schmale; and three half-brothers: Lester Schmale, Sr., Levi Schmale, Sr. and John A. Knauer. Family and friends are invited to Raymond’s Graveside Service at Birdsboro Cemetery, 1018 E. Main St., Birdsboro, PA 19508 on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 am.
