Rebecca “Becky” Itchon King, 68, died Wednesday August 10, 2022 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Rebecca was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines on January 2, 1954 and she was the eldest of 6 children of the late Manuel PeBenito Itchon and Resurreccion Asis-Itchon Jackson. Becky loved dearly her family and was especially beloved by her siblings Robert, Rossana, Rhodelia, Ramoncito, and Raul as they all considered her their figurative mother. Rebecca married Charles “Charlie” T. King on July 4, 1983 in Caloocan City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Becky was a devoted, loving and doting wife to Charlie for all their 39-plus years together, very fond of one another and they loved to travel. Becky and Charlie settled in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania since 1989 and through the years associated with various local congregations of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Metro Philadelphia area. Rebecca was full of love, trusted friend to many, very kind and generous, and their home was always open and welcoming to their family and friends. Rebecca was a dedicated servant of Jehovah for over 38 years and freely gave her time to teach others about Jehovah’s purpose and promise for an earthly paradise. Her unwavering faith and hope for resurrection gave her inner peace during her 2 ½ -year bout with cancer. Becky was educated in the Philippines with background in Finance and Banking and worked most recently as Bindery Supervisor until her retirement in 2019. Rebecca is survived by: her husband Charles; siblings: Robert, Rossana, Rhodelia, Ramoncito, and Raul; half-brother: Martinez Jackson Jr.; nieces and nephews: April, Nigel, Marielle, Kristian, Benjamin, Natasha, Jania, Alexis, Lester, Mariah, Nicole, Simeon Jr., Robert Jr., Rishana, Nelrah, and Nathan; and in-laws: Richard Pugh, Simeon Pel, Vicky, and Noemi.
