Rebecca A. (Arabiran) Palat passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Powerback Rehab in Norristown, PA. She was 72. Mrs. Palat was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a chemical engineer. Born in Cebu, the Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Ireneo and Incarnation Arabiran. Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Vijayamohan K. Palat; two sons, Vijaykumar Palat and his wife, Amy, of Pittsburgh, PA and Rajan Palat of King of Prussia, PA; a granddaughter, Zoe; a brother, Jun Arabiran of Bridgeport, PA; and a sister, Ester Diaz and her husband, Oscar, of Silver Springs, MD. Rebecca's Memorial Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2 to 2:50 pm, at the funeral home.
