Resurreccion "Cion" (Asis) Jackson passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 77. Mrs. Jackson was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. Due to her love of children and the desire to watch them grow, Cion proceeded to become a teacher, graduating with a B.S. in Education from Harvardian University in Davao City. She then taught elementary education. Cion loved to sew, play the piano and harp, and she enjoyed gardening. She was an avid jewelry collector and had a keen sense of style. However, what was very notable was Cion's sense of adventure. She loved to try new foods and delicacies, enjoyed traveling, and loved to drive swiftly around Philadelphia.Born in the Philippines on April 1, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Pedro and Leonarda (Arquero) Asis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Manuel P. Itchon and her second husband, Martinez Jackson, Sr. Surviving is her loving family including four sons: Robert Itchon and his wife, Imelda of Philadelphia, PA, Ramoncito Itchon and his wife, Vicky of King of Prussia, PA, Raul Itchon and his wife, Noemi of Malvern, PA and Martinez Jackson, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; three daughters: Rebecca King and her husband, Charles of King of Prussia, PA, Rossana Pugh and her husband, Richard of Pleasantville, NJ and Rhodelia Pel and her husband, Simeon of Philadelphia, PA; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Cecilia Lawsin and her husband, Manolo of Huntingdon Valley, PA; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 Dekalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm, with viewing from 5 to 8pm.
