In Loving Memory of Reynold Cierniak
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Reynold Paul Cierniak, who passed away on June 20, 2026 at the age of 54.
Ren was a cherished son, brother, uncle, friend, and loved one whose kindness, strength, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, offering a helping hand, and bringing laughter to even the simplest moments. His love for family was unwavering, and the memories he created with those closest to him will be treasured forever.
Ren proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, where he demonstrated the dedication, discipline, and sense of duty that remained with him throughout his life. After his military service, he attended the New England Culinary Institute, but to support his family he built a career as a truck driver, hauling automobiles throughout the eastern half of the United States. He took pride in his work, valued the independence of the open road, and was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
He enjoyed listening to books and the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and found joy in cooking. Whether spending time with family, pursuing his passions, or sharing stories from his travels, Ren lived with a generous heart and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
He is survived by his children Autumn Cierniak, and Jacqueline Cierniak, his brothers Eugene Cierniak (Inger, Jacob and Anders), John Cierniak (Kim, Gwendolyn and Edward) and sister Krysia Tramont ( Ken, Karina and Kacey) and was preceded in death by his father Reynold Eugene Cierniak and his mother Rosemarie Dlouhy Cierniak.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the countless memories, lessons, and love Ren leaves behind. His legacy of service, hard work, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on August 7, 2026 at 10am at Delaware Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
Ren will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
