Richard M. Alberto

Richard Matthew Alberto, 63, of Bensalem, PA, passed away Monday, August 7th, 2023, at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital surrounded by family. Richard was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 17, 1960, a son of Ann (Haase) and the late David Alberto.

Richard (also known as Rick, Ricky, and “Uncle Rick”) is best described as the man who lived 1000 lives. He had an incredible collection of skills, a variety of interests, an unwavering dedication to the ones he loved, and was one of the greatest story tellers of all time. An incomparable human with a larger-than-life presence, witty humor, enormous capacity for empathy, and extraordinarily distinct voice made him one of a kind.

Richard is survived by his children, Rick Delia (Joan), Gabrielle Alberto (Justin), Tony Alberto (Valerie); his grandchildren, Daviny, Kellan, Roman, and Declan; his mother, Ann Alberto; his siblings, Nancy Kennedy (Don), Janet Hudick (Harry), Jill Hoch (Fred), Tina Lusher (Ed), and Jeffrey Alberto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by his father David Alberto, his brothers William Kramer, David Alberto Jr., and Matthew Alberto, as well as his sisters Barbara Reynolds and Judy Mathews.

Family and friends are invited to Richard’s visitation on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, from 11am to 1pm, followed by his memorial service starting at 1pm, both held at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA.
