Richard Lee Althouse

Richard Lee Althouse, resident of King of Prussia, passed away on May 29, 2019 at the age of 55 years, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming the lakes of Pennsylvania and South Carolina. He claimed his dad taught him everything, and he passed his knowledge on to his beloved daughter, Alexis. Richard was a stubborn man who never wanted to ask for help and was independent even at the very end of his life. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Alexis, and his very good friend, Frank Yechout. He was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl. In keeping with Richard’s love of the outdoors, his ashes will be spread in some of his favorite nature spots at a later date. Those who wish to honor Richard are invited to visit the outdoors and spend some time thinking of him.
