Richard D. Dovalovsky passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 68. Mr. Dovalovsky was a resident of Wayne, PA. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Richard was a graduate of Penn State and worked for 38 years for the Federal Government in Health & Human Services, retiring as a Program Manager. Richard enjoyed collecting antiques and going to flea markets. He loved woodworking, especially building and painting reproductions of Pennsylvania-German boxes. Richard was a US Navy Veteran. Born in New Eagle, PA on January 31, 1951, he was a son of the late John J. and Helen (Sevcik) Dovalovsky. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 42 years, Gail M. (Stauffer) Dovalovsky; a son, Jeffrey D. Dovalovsky of Chesterton, Indiana; a brother, John L. Dovalovsky and his wife, Linda, of Lombard, Illinois; a sister, Marilyn Wenger and her husband, William, of Crescent, PA; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Richard’s viewings at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 6 to 8:00 pm; also Thursday morning at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA from 9 to 9:50 am. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow the Mass.
