Richard J. Farra, Sr.

Richard J. Farra Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 70. Mr. Farra was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a warehouse worker with medical supplies for Abbott Labs which later became Hospira for many years. Richard loved watching all the Philly sports and Penn State football. He enjoyed motorcycles, golfing and was an avid softball player. He coached his sons when they were in the King of Prussia Indians and the Upper Merion Baseball Association. Richard kept to himself but loved spending time with his family and friends. Born in Norristown, PA on March 25, 1951, he was a son of the late Eugene Edward and Mary C. (Cafra) Farra. Surviving is his loving family including two sons, Richard (Lia Kerner) Farra Jr. and Michael (Jen) Farra; daughter, Kimberly (Steven) D’Alessandro; four grandchildren: Michael, Domenica, Enzo and Valentina; three brothers: Edward (Judy) Farra, Thomas (Cindy) Farra and David (Debbie) Farra; two sisters, Donna (Frank) Barbish and Sandy (Steve) Piergiovanni; and many other loving family members.
