Richard B. Handwerk, Sr.

Richard B. Handwerk, Sr. passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023 at Einstein Medical Center in E. Norriton, PA surrounded by his loved ones. He was 57. Richard was a resident of Norristown, PA. He owned and operated Handwerk Painting with his brother, David for over 30 years. He was a member of Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church in Norristown, PA. Richard absolutely loved fishing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends, hanging out with his buddies in the garage, and spending time with his family.

Born in Norristown, PA on February 12, 1966, he was a son of the late Alton A., Sr. and Barbara Ann (nee Arvin) Handwerk.

Surviving is his loving family including his life partner of 33 years, Shirley Clemson; his son, Richard B. Handwerk, Jr. (Tiffany Viola); his step-son, Charles J. Clemson (Kimberly Viola); 2 grandchildren, Ella Handwerk and C.J. Clemson; 2 brothers, Alton Handwerk, Jr. and David Handwerk (Kim); 3 sisters, Theresa Handwerk, Anita Moulder (Mark), and Lori Ann Handwerk; and his beloved dog, Chip and cat, Bandit; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Richard’s family will receive relatives and friends at Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 W. Main St. Norristown, PA 19403 on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 9-10:50 am. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am at church. Inurnment will be private.
