Dick

Richard D. Hassinger (Dick), 82 of Willow Grove passed away Sunday, Sept 5, 2021 at Wyncote Place. Dick was born April 27, 1939 in Philadelphia a son of the late Daniel M. Hassinger and Mary O. Mahnke. Dick worked at SPS Technologies as a machine technician supervisor and training manager until 1994 and spent the second part of his career at The Thompson Organization. He enjoyed beach vacations, his pool, spending time with family and helping fix things around the house. Dick was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School in 1958.  Surviving is his wife Diane of Lansdale, PA and 4 sons, Jeff, Paul (Joanna), Rich (Noelle) and Scott (Devon); he had 11 grandchildren: Brianna, Kaitlynd, Zoe, Haley, Rylee, Karina, Lily, Olivia, Leo, Taylor and Emma; 1 brother, Jeff of Schwenksville, PA; and 1 sister, Susan of Doylestown, PA.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday from 6-8pm at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA 19046. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927.
