Richard P. Johns

Richard P. “Ricky” Johns passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2017, surrounded by his family at his residence in Norristown, PA. He was 62. Mr. Johns worked as a rough framer for Augustine Construction in Eagleville, PA, and also St. Patrick’s Cemetery for 9 years. He enjoyed WWE Wrestling, fishing and the great outdoors. Ricky loved all things western and was a cowboy at heart. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Born in Norristown, PA on March 18, 1955, he was a son of the late Bernard and Marjorie (Gavin) Johns. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Denise (Schiele) Johns, they were together for 38 years; a son, Shane J. Johns of Norristown; Noah Almeklafi of Norristown, whom he considered a son; a daughter, Danielle A. Johns of Norristown; a granddaughter, Kayla; two brothers, Bernard (Kathy) Johns of Phoenixville, PA and Kevin Johns of Norristown; four sisters: Marjorie Gambino of Norristown, Sally (Rick) Pezzoli of Steamboat Springs, CO, Susan Tague of Norristown and Pam Johns of Norristown; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Johns. Ricky’s Memorial Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
