Richard Leonard March

Richard Leonard March, 74, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Philadelphia in Tacony, passed Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 peacefully, at Paoli Hospital, Paoli, Chester County.

Richard was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 18, 1950, a son of the late Helen Emily (Smith) and Richard LaSalle March. Brother to Janice Marie March (deceased).

He was a member of Tacony Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA 19135 in his youth.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He worked as a Clerk for the Veterans Administration in Philadelphia, retiring at age 55.

Richard is also survived by Wilbur Crawford, spouse, a sister, Marie E. O'Donnell, of Morrisville, PA; and her son Cullen O’Donnell of Philadelphia.

Public Viewing will be held 10 AM to 11 AM on Thursday, May 30th at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. (at Hulmeville Rd.) in Bensalem, PA. A Memorial Service will begin at 11 AM.  His interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in (Tacony) Philadelphia.
