Richard Dick' Nystrom, Sr.

Richard "Dick" Nystrom Sr. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 79. Richard worked as a machine technician for G.E. for over 30 years. He loved bowling, going to the casinos, and playing Pinochle and Hearts.Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 1, 1935, he was a son of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Wescoat) Nystrom. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 56 years, Marie M. (Steigerwald) Nystrom of King of Prussia, PA; his children: Theresa A. Zablosky and her husband, David, of Royersford, PA, Linda E. Altier and her husband, Thomas, of Schwenksville, PA and Robert J. Nystrom and his wife, Christene, of Phoenixville, PA; and 3 grandchildren: Stephanie, Eva and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Nystrom, Jr.; and a brother, Carl Nystrom. Relatives & friends are invited to attend Richard's Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 am. His viewing will be Monday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N.
