Richard "Rick" Dennis Mccabe

Richard Dennis McCabe (Rick), of Blue Bell, passed away on March 4th, 2025.

Rick was born on November 24, 1946, to parents George and Leona McCabe. He grew up in King of Prussia and attended Bishop Kenrick High School. After serving his country in the Army, Rick spent the majority of his career working for National Rolling Mills, which later became Worthington Steel.

His passion for dogs was known to all who knew him, and he often donated money to charities such as the local SPCA. Extremely loyal to those he loved, he was known for his sarcasm and quick wit.

Rick is survived by his beloved dog, Jessie, his three children, oldest son Sean (wife Nikki), favorite child Jennifer (husband Brian), and youngest son Rick, as well as his younger brother, David. He had eight grandchildren for whom he was proud – Cole and Shaunna (Sean), Reganne, Patrick and Ryan (Jennifer), Zack, Carter and Colin (Rick). He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 56 years, Margaret Ann McCabe, who died on December 16th, 2022.

A private Celebration of Life memorial will be held for his close friends and family.
