Richard "Rick" F. Lattanze

Richard F. “Rick” Lattanze passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 70. Mr. Lattanze was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grade School and Upper Merion High School. After graduating he served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Rick then attended the Fire Academy and worked as the Fire Marshall for the Borough of Bridgeport until his retirement in 1999. He was also a volunteer fire fighter at the Goodwill Fire Company. Rick’s greatest joy in life was being “Pop” to his grandson, Hunter. Born in Scranton, PA on April 12, 1951, he was a son of the late John C. Lattanze Sr. and Sara A. “Sally” (Kane) Lattanze. Surviving is his loving family including two daughters, Christina Lattanze (Heath) Rock and Shannon (Jay) Viggiano; a grandson, Hunter Richard Lattanze; a brother, David S. (JeanneMarie) Lattanze; a sister, Beverly A. Catania; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Lattanze, Jr. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 9 to 11:00 am.
