Richard Francis Tarlecki passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Marple Gardens Rehab & Nursing in Marple Twp., PA. He was 92. Mr. Tarlecki was a resident of Darby, PA and attended West Chester University. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Richardwas a musician performing with his band, the Dick Bruce Orchestra, which was a 15-piece dance band in the 1950’s and 60’s.

Born in Bridgeport, PA on August 5, 1930, he was a son of the late Francis T. and Marie “Nettie” (McNamara) Tarlecki. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Frank T. (Beth) Tarlecki; a daughter, Judith Tarlecki; 6 grandchildren: Nicole (Roy) Francis, Francis (David Lyons) Tarlecki, Shannon (Russell) Elia, Charles (Megan) Tarlecki, Julie Stevenson and James Stevenson; 3 great-grandchildren: Cole, Wyatt and Russell; a brother, Kenneth Tarlecki; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Stevenson; brothers, Wayne and Jerry; and a sister, Betty Jane Musumeci.

Relatives & friends are invited to Richard’s Graveside Service at St. Augustine Cemetery, 175 W. DeKalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

Arrangements are by the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
