Richard Vanzandt

Richard VanZandt, age 88 of Audubon passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Blanche VanZandt. His wife, Joan passed away in 1996. Also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph and sister-in-law Elaine. He was a graduate of Drexel University, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and active in the boy scouts. He was a former member of Lansdowne Lodge #711 of the Free Masons. Richard is survived by two children, Janet Welsh (David) of Lansdale, and Richard J. (Marybeth); sister, Dorothy Lee Werkiser (James); one granddaughter, Sarah Donohue (Joshua). In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Masonic Compassionate Care Fund, Office of Gift Planning 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing Thursday, February 2, 2017 10:15-10:45 am at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church 3050 West Ridge Pike Eagleville, PA 19403 followed by a mass at 11:00 am.
