Richard Patton Wynn Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 75. Mr. Wynn was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a US Navy veteran. He was the owner/operator of the former Wynn's Produce and his family continues the tradition of selling Christmas trees every year. Richard enjoyed gardening, playing cards, old cars, rock and roll music, and doing odd jobs with his kids. He had a laid-back personality but was very social and liked talking to people. Richard’s favorite things were taking rides with his beloved wife in the Amish country and eating at Shady Maple, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren. Born in Williamsport, PA on October 21, 1945, he was a son of the late Willie P. and O. Virginia (McDonald) Wynn. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of over 50 years, Kathleen J. (Sandor) Wynn; three sons: Richard (Michelle) Wynn, Randy Wynn and Jason (Kristy) Wynn; daughter, Charlene (Greg) Lattanze; seven grandchildren: Kyle, Donny, Melanie, Hailey, Gavin, Madison and Sophia; brother, Gary E. (Kathy) Wynn; three sisters: Wanda E. (French) George, Diane L. Collins and Sandra J. (Roscoe) Wynn Read; and several other loving family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Richard’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 9 to 11:00 am. A private Prayer Service for the family will follow. Due to Covid-19, we ask that everyone limit the time spent with family members. Masks and social distancing are required.
