Rita K. O'Brien

Rita Devlin Kruse O’Brien, 92, of Jenkintown, PA and formerly of Bronxville, NY passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was born in New York City, NY on August 17, 1931, daughter of the late Ethel (Dooling) and Francis T. Devlin. She was a devout member of Our Lady Help of Christians Abington, PA.

Beloved wife of the late Carl T. Kruse and Frank J. O’Brien. Devoted mother of Carl Kruse (Rosemary), Felice Kruse, Randy Kruse (Judy) and Trisha O’Brien. Dear sister of Frank Devlin and the late Ann Devlin Ricci and Bill Devlin. Grandmother to Carl Jr. and Anita Marie Kruse.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday, June 28th from 9-9:50 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Church 1500 Marian Rd. Abington, PA 19001. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM. Her interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady Help of Christians, Abington PA and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
