Rita Ann Scotti

Rita Ann (Dell' Angelo) Scotti passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. Mrs. Scotti worked for Control Data for many years as an assembler. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Audubon, where she loved attending Mass. Rita enjoyed going to the casinos, watching the Philadelphia sports teams and hosting family dinners. She loved spending time with her family and was a great caregiver to many of them. Born in Norristown, PA on June 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Margaret (Nave) Dell’ Angelo. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Scotti, who died in 2003. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Joseph M. Scotti and his wife, Donna and Michael J. Scotti; three daughters: Cynthia A. Engle, Rebecca S. Aylmer and her husband, Jim and Jacqueline Zohn and her husband, Gary; ten grandchildren: Melanie, Jimmy, Vanessa, Shayna, Harrison, Erica, David, Jenna, Brian and Natasha; a great-grandson, Liam; a sister, Lena Proietto; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert & Valentino; and two sisters, Congetta & Viola. Relatives & friends are invited to Rita’s Funeral Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Audubon, PA on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am. Her viewings are Thursday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA; also Friday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 am, at the church. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton Twp., PA.
