Rita A. Walsh

Rita A. Walsh (nee Hussar) passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023. She was 90. Rita was married to the late Paul “Pete” C. Walsh, he passed away in 2002. Rita received her Bachelor’s degree at Philadelphia Nursing College. Rita loved animals. She was a devout Catholic and very involved in her parish. Rita was a big NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. She will be dearly missed by everyone, especially Vickie and Bill Walsh.

Born on January 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John Hussar and Anna (nee Kotchision) Hussar-Gorski.

Surviving is her brother, William and his wife, Janine Gorski; many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Hussar and George Gorski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rita’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, located at 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA, on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 9:00-10:15am. Eulogy will begin at 10:20am, with Mass beginning at 10:30am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mother of Divine Providence Church.
