Robert F. Babcock

Robert Francis Babcock Robert Francis Babcock, 74, of Huntingdon Valley, PA passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Abington – Jefferson Hospice in Warminster, Bucks County, PA. Robert was born in Manhattan, NY on October 14, 1946, a son of the late Dolores Keough and Frank Babcock; and brother of the late Leonard and Edward. Robert was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Ruchniewski) Babcock and the loving father of the late Kenneth Francis Babcock. He is also survived by his brothers; Raymond, Michael, Kenneth and Joseph and his many nieces and nephews. Bob grew up at St. Agnes Home & School in Sparkill, Rockland County, N.Y. He attended High School in Queens, Long Island, N.Y. He served honorably in the US Army stationed in Germany. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering at Temple University and a Master’s Degree in Engineering & Science at University of Pennsylvania. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked on satellite programs and radar systems for the US military. He was also an instructor at Temple University, Villanova and an online teacher at the University of Phoenix. Among his many hobbies and interests he had a private pilot’s license, enjoyed playing golf, played bass guitar and sang in the Church choir. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 10 AM to 11AM and a Religious Service at 11 AM both on Tuesday, January 5th, 2020 at Joseph J.
