Robert "Bob" M. Jones

Robert “Bob” M. Jones passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Rosemont Care & Rehabilitation Center in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 65. Bob was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and was a Batcher for Johnson Matthey in Wayne, PA for many years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in W. Norriton, PA and played in the Bridgeport Softball League.

Born on January 4, 1959 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Lila M. (Chandler) Jones.

Surviving is his loving family including 3 sons, Robert L. Jones, Jeremy E. (Theresa) Jones, and Matthew S. Jones; a daughter, Kathleen L. Jones(Brian); 7 grandchildren; his beloved dog Belle; 3 brothers, Brian E. Jones, Terry L. (Michele) Jones, and Brent N. (April) Jones; a sister, Lila K. Burokas; his former wife and current friend, Kathy L. Jones; and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Lyle R. Jones and Norman G. Jones and a sister, Karen L. Jacobson.

Bob’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2530 Stinson Lane, Norristown, PA 19403 on February 24th at 11AM. Inurnment will be private.
