Robert E. Brechbiel

Robert E. Brechbiel passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Milford, DE. He was 89. Robert was formerly of King of Prussia, PA and was a former member of Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville, PA. He attended Charlotte Hall Military School in Charlotte Hall, MD and attended Philadelphia College of Bible when it was in Philadelphia, PA. After his service time, he worked for General Electric in King of Prussia, PA, and later for the Norristown Area School District, mostly at Marshall Street School, until his retirement in 1998.

Robert enjoyed playing guitar, Bluegrass & Gospel music, fixing lawnmowers and anything else that might be broken. He was known as “Mr. Fix-It”, and could fix just about anything with his skills and knowledge. He was also an avid photographer in his younger years.

Robert was a Born-Again Christian, having placed his faith in Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul. He lived out his faith by helping those around him in ways that he could – mowing grass for widows or single moms, fixing up broken lawn mowers and giving them to someone who needed one, etc. His family has assurance he is whole and well in heaven now with his Savior.

Born in Cumberland, MD on August 22, 1933, he was a son of the late Walter E. and Emma P. (Fisher) Brechbiel. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Montgomery and his infant granddaughter, Miriam Joy. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 62 years, Norma R.
