Robert V. Brownlie, Sr.

Robert V. Bob” Brownlie, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was 82. Mr. Brownlie was a resident of N. Cape May, NJ and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. He was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1953. Bob was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing and bowling. Born in Cedarville, NJ on November 19, 1934, he was a son of the late John A. and Anna (Elkins) Brownlie. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Mary Jo (McTague) Brownlie; a daughter, Michele McKernan and her husband, Dennis, of Paoli, PA; four grandchildren: Mark (Carrie) McKernan, Jenny (Nathan) Mohler, Ryan (Lauren) McKernan and Andrew Brownlie; a great-grandson, Luke Mohler; and a daugher-in-law, Vicky Brownlie. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert V. Brownlie, Jr.; and a brother, John Brownlie. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
