Esther Roseanne “Essie” Crawford passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in East Norriton, PA. She was 74. Essie worked as an office manager in the accounts receivable department of NorFab. She was a member of St. Titus Church in East Norriton, PA. Essie was an avid bowler at Facenda Whitaker Lanes. She was heavily involved with her local senior citizen center. Essie loved Elvis Presley. She went dancing all of the time with her friends. She was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan. Essie was always the center of attention in any room she was in. She filled them all with joy. She will be terribly missed. Born in Norristown, PA on March 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Popelik) Schweigert.   Robert D. Crawford passed away suddenly on Friday, June 3, 2016, at his residence in East Norriton, PA. He was 81. Mr. Crawford was a retiree from Norris Iron. He served in the US Navy on the USS Lake Champlain CV-39. He loved playing horseshoes and softball. He was a dedicated bowler for many years. He received a medal for his championship in the Senior Olympics. He adored all Philadelphia sports teams. Born in Duffy, Ohio on July 23, 1934, he was the son of the late Oliver and Tina (Tennant) Crawford.   Surviving is their loving family including two sons, R. Dale Crawford of Skippack, PA and Craig Crawford and his wife, Pam, of Audubon, PA; and three grandchildren: Austin, Dylan and Olivia Crawford. They were preceded in death by a son, Eric Crawford. Essie is also survived by a brother, John Schweigert and his wife, Nancy, of Arizona; a sister, Monica Button of Reading, PA; and many other loving family members.   Essie & Robert's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd., E. Norriton, PA on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday morning from 9:45 until 10:45am, at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Essie’s & Robert's memory to Elmwood Park Zoo at 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown, PA 19401. Condolences at www.bacchifh.com
