Robert W. Custer

Robert "Bob" W. Custer passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 76 years old. Mr. Custer was a resident of Douglassville, PA and he worked as a truck driver. Bob enjoyed fishing, golf and working in his garden. Bob was an enthusiastic Cub Master of the Schwenksville Cub Scout Pack 105 for many years. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 25, 1940, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Alberta H. (Furry) Custer. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 55 years, Judith (Kirchoffer) Custer; 3 sons: Chris (Ashley) Custer of Pottstown, PA, Shawn Custer of Quakertown, PA and Todd (Andrea) Custer of Montgomery, TX; 7 grandchildren: Brady, Riley, Kyle, Emily, James, Mark and John Edward; a brother, Steve (Carol) Custer of Collegeville, PA; 2 sisters, Janet Boyce of Canada and Cheryl (Jim) Hopkins of Middletown, DE; 3 nephews and 3 nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to Robert’s Graveside Service at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA on June 3rd at noon.
