Robert N. Dantonio

Robert N. Dantonio passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. He was 67. Mr. Dantonio was a resident of Jim Thorpe, PA and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. He was a retired truck driver for the former Fleming Foods in Oaks, PA. Robert was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the St. Valentine's Club, both in Bridgeport, PA. He was also on the board of the Bearcreek Lake Civic Association. Born in Norristown, PA on January 7, 1943, he was a son of the late Lorenzo and Sylvia E.(Travagli) Dantonio. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 50 years, Joanne B.(Nugent) Dantonio; three daughters: Joanne E. Dantonio of Seattle, WA, Irene C. Dobbs and her husband, Doug of Fairview Village, Pa. and Rita S. Dantonio and her husband, Michael Blake of Fairview Village, Pa.; five grandchildren: Brooke, Maria, Matthew, Renee and Laura; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and John Dantonio. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:00am. His viewing is Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion, PA.
