Robert T. "Rock" Dayoc, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 74. Mr. Dayoc was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and was raised in Port Kennedy, PA. He worked as a machinist for the former Philadelphia Gear Corp. and as a parking attendant for the Montgomery County Courthouse. Rock was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on September 29, 1939, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Carmella A. (Fulginiti) Dayoc. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 54 years, Susan T. "Sue" (DiSanto) Dayoc; a daughter, Susan Dunleavy and her husband, John, of King of Prussia, PA; two sons, Robert T. Dayoc, Jr. of Bridgeport, PA and Stephen Dayoc of Royersford, PA; three grandchildren: John R. "Jack" Dunleavy, Nicole L. Dunleavy & Andrew S. Dayoc; a brother, Deacon Michael J. Dayoc, Sr. and his wife, MaryAnn, of E. Norriton, PA; a brother-in-law, Carmen Cicirello of Philadelphia, PA; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Joseph, Vincent and Edward Dayoc; and three sisters: Rose Tulish, Mary Dayoc and Theresa Cicirello.Relatives & friends are invited to Rock's Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Worship Site, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Friday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the worship site.
