February 12, 1928 — March 5, 2025

Robert F. Fenlon, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in hospice care at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 97. Robert received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1959. He was a member of Mother Of Divine Providence Parish where he served as Eucharistic Minister and Lector.

Bob worked for various local manufacturing firms, primarily in Aerospace Sales, and had his own manufacturing representative business for a time. His work involved a lot of international travel which he enjoyed, but Bob’s favorite job was his last, delivering flowers for a local flower shop.

He was a US Navy veteran and served on the USS Albany, Portsmouth, and Wisconsin. Bob and his fellow Portsmouth shipmates would often get together to celebrate the good old days. He documented their exploits as the editor of the ship’s newsletter.

Bob loved music, theater and photography. He assembled quite a collection of photos from frequent trips to Europe, the US Presidents' birth places, and from countless family celebrations.

He was a member of the Triple Nine Society, and was a 4th-Degree Knight of Columbus.

Born in Philadelphia PA on February 12, 1928, Bob was the son of the late John and Doris (Rein) Fenlon. He married the late (2020) Dolores Rose (Gorman) Fenlon in 1954, and moved to their King of Prussia residence in 1960.

Surviving is his loving family, including his four children, Robert Jr., Marianne Creamer and husband John, Bethanne Ladley and husband Edward, and James Fenlon; grandchildren Ainsley, Lauren, Teddy, Erin, Matthew, Ava, and James, and great granddaughter, Chloe. Bob is preceded in death by his brother, John.
