Robert William Flynn

Flynn Robert W. “Flynnie”, 67, of Philadelphia and Trevose passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 peacefully after a lengthy illness at St. Joseph Manor in Meadowbrook. Robert was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 30, 1953, a son of the late Eleanor (Bullet) and William Flynn. He was the father of the late Alex. Bob was the beloved husband of Kathleen Williams Flynn; Loving father of Stephanie Schatz (Dan) and Robert (Jen). Robert is also survived by his grandchildren Braydon and Harper; his siblings Sue Rodgers (Fred), Jimmy Flynn (Chris) and Diane Flynn (Tammy). Bob also had another family for the past few years! All of the staff at St. Joseph Manor and especially the “angels and saints” on 3A who really were his family during these past 6 months. “Flynnie” was an avid fisherman, a NASCAR fan (#24) and also a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan!! Family will receive relatives and friends Friday, September 25th, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM, followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA. A second visitation will also be held Friday, September 25th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Hoffmann Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. Bensalem, PA. The use of masks and social distancing will be observed.
