Robert James "Bob" Harrigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Rittenhouse Pine Center in Norristown, PA. He was 85. Mr. Harrigan was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a bus driver for Septa. Bob was a member of the Limerick Chapel in Limerick, PA and the Free Masons in Philadelphia, PA. He loved model trains.Mr. Harrigan was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving from 1945 to 1946.Born in Lancaster, PA on September 12, 1926, he was a son of the late Robert Wilbert and Lucy (Black) Harrigan. He was the husband of the late Helen I. (McGuigan) Harrigan. Surviving is his loving family including a step-son, Daniel Stauffer of Bridgeport, PA; and two granddaughters, Danielle Stauffer and Courtney Grey. Relatives and friends are invited to Bob's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10:00 am. His viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the funeral home.
