Robert J. Mizak

Robert J. Mizak, age 75, passed away peacefully, alongside his immediate family, at Phoenixville Hospital on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Robert was a resident of Royersford, PA. He retired from The Ford Motor Company as an electronics technician.

Born in Norristown, PA on March 9, 1949, he was the son of the late Stephen G. Mizak Sr. and Lucy (Scandone) Mizak.

In addition to his parents, Robert is proceeded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth Mizak, Joanne (Mizak) Karlson and his brother, Stephen G. Mizak, Jr.

Surviving are his nephew, Kimber Jon Karlson, of Royersford, PA, and his nieces, Erika Lynn Karlson, of Port Charlotte, FL and Heather Renee (Karlson) Biddle of Kennett Square, PA.

Robert was an all around nice guy. He was always there with a kind word, funny comment and helping hand. He had a love of life even as he took on his hardest battle.

Robert worked for The Ford Motor Company for several decades. He had a love of all vehicles, but his favorites were the classic Mustangs. His dream was to one day own a Shelby or Boss. He had a love of music as well, to mainly include classic rock from the 1970's. There was no better way he enjoyed listening than on his classic turntable, imperfections and all.

Robert enjoyed traveling, especially in his younger years. Even hitchhiking across the US in the 1970's. In his later years he found peace on the beaches of South West Florida. He was also a big movie buff. He loved all genres of film with the classics amongst some of his favorites.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Augustine's Cemetery, 175 West DeKalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA.
