Robert B. Klaiber, Sr.

Mr. Robert B. "Bob" Klaiber, Sr. passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 84. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Bob graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA in 1947 and La Salle College, BS, Philadelphia, in 1970. He served in the US Navy between 1948 and 1954. Bob worked as a Production Control Manager before he retired in 1992 from the General Electric Missile and Space Company, previously located in King of Prussia. Bob sang with the Bryn Mawr Mainliners men's barbershop chorus in the late 80's to the early 90's.Born in Lansdale, PA on December 18, 1929, he was a son of the late Moritz and Walburga (Arnegger) Klaiber. He was the husband of the late Jean A. (Gramlich) Klaiber, who died in 2009. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Robert Klaiber, Jr. of Chesterbrook, PA; 4 daughters: Regina Mingle and her husband, Jack, of Chester Springs, PA, Donna Dardozzi and her husband, Louis, of Green Lane, PA, Cheryl Timmins and her husband, Thomas, of Kimberton, PA and Teresa Friskey and her husband, John, of King of Prussia, PA; 16 grandchildren: Rebecca, Philip, Matthew, Christopher, Ryan, Sean, Joshua, Kristen, Michael, Eric, Marissa, Thomas IV, Tyler, John, Robert and Meghan; 8 great-grandchildren: Caelan, Talulla, Madison, Kirk, Elena, John Kai, Aaron and Penelope; a sister, Marie Grace Thomas and her husband, John, of Greenville, SC; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives & friends are invited to Bob's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 10:30 am. His viewings are Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church.
