Robert "Robby" Martin Cain

Robert "Robby" Martin Cain, age 27, passed away on August 18, 2026. Born on January 27, 1999, Robert was a gentle giant of a man. Standing at 6'6", his towering presence was matched only by his deep kindness and warmth.

Known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor, Robert brought laughter and a distinct charm to every conversation. He was an exceptionally creative Dungeon Master who built entire worlds for his friends, guiding them through epic adventures with clever imagination. When he wasn't crafting campaigns, he was often immersed in science fiction books, listening to podcasts like” The History of Rome”, or listening to jazz. He possessed a sharp memory, frequently delighting loved ones by perfectly reciting dialogue from his favorite television shows.

Robert is survived by his parents, Bob and Teresa Cain; his older sister, Sara, and her husband, Kurt, to both of whom he was also a best friend; and his younger sister, Katie. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at 405 Leahy Dr, Newark, DE on September 6, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).https://www.nami.org/
