Robert J. Ruggiano Sr.

Robert J. Ruggiano Sr., passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton, PA. He was 79. At Bishop Kenrick High School, Robert was Valedictorian of his class. He was a member of the Alabama Booster Club and belonged to the former Triple SSS Club in Bridgeport. Robert had a love of all sports. He worked in accounting for PECO for many years. Robert was a Medic in the U.S. Army. He also was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Born on February 15, 1944, in Norristown PA., he was a son of the late, Joseph and Carmella (Mastrocola) Ruggiano Sr.

Surviving is his loving family, including his son, Robert J. Ruggiano Jr; grandchildren: Matthew and Allison; and a great granddaughter, Isabella.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharyn M. (Kelly) Ruggiano who passed away in 1997; brother, Joseph Ruggiano Jr.; and sister, Theresa Orsini.

Relatives and friends are invited to Robert’s viewing on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA,  from 9:00 to 10:15am with a Funeral Mass starting at 10:30am. Interment will be held at St. Augustine Cemetery, in King of Prussia, PA.
