Robert Jr. Tashjian

Robert Tashjian Jr. passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was 71. Mr. Tashjian was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a mechanical engineer. Robert was a member of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1938, he was a son of the late Robert Tashjian Sr. and Rose (Balakian) Tashjian. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 41 years, Jasmine (Manvelian) Tashjian; a son, Paul Tashjian and his wife, Florence of Phoenixville, PA; two daughters, Nancy Hepensteil and her husband, Steven of Wilton, CT and Sharon Tashjian of West Chester, PA; a grandson, Steven H. Hepensteil; a sister, Marion Avedissian and her husband, Pierre of Cherry Hill, NJ; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church, 8701 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 11:00am. His viewing is Wednesday morning from 10 to 10:50am, at the church.
