Robert Bobby' Whitt

Robert "Bobby" Whitt passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2013 at his residence in Norristown, PA. He was 64. Mr. Whitt worked as a manager for the White Glove Car Wash in E. Norriton, PA for over 20 years. He was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Norristown, PA. Bobby was also a member of the 12 step program of NA and was 21 years clean.Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 2, 1949, he was a son of the late James Bracey and Ernestine "Nancy" Whitt. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 16 years, Lorraine H. (Cooper) Whitt; two step-daughters, Gina M. Budine of Souderton, PA and Paula J. Chendorain of Norristown, PA; six step-grandchildren: Richard, David, Jessica, Lorraine, Brandon and Thomas; two step-great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Sophia; two brothers, James Whitt and his wife, Isabella, of Bladensburg, PA and Anthony Bracey of Philadelphia, PA; five sisters: Cynthia Wall, Janice Williams and her husband, Raymond, Jacqueline Oliver and her husband, James, and Deborah Bracey, all of Philadelphia, and Lillian Simmons and her husband, Joseph, of Maryland; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, John, and a step-brother, Butch. Bobby's Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 6:30 pm. The family will receive relatives & friends on Wednesday from 5 to 6:20 pm, at the funeral home.
