Roberta Jane Cowan

Roberta J. Cowan, 87, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Born in Philadelphia on December 13, 1937, Roberta was the cherished daughter of the late Helen (Carr) and Robert Cowan. She spent her career at SPS in Glenside, PA, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit.

Roberta found joy in life’s simple pleasures—crossword puzzles, scratch-off lottery tickets, game shows, and the Hallmark Channel. She was a proud Phillies fan and treasured every moment spent with her family.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Cecelia Lafferty (Wayne) of Bensalem, Maryanne Robert, and Linda Cowan. Roberta was preceded in death by her son, George Cowan, his wife Catherine, and her brother, Robert Cowan.

Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Kimberly Collazo (Nelson), Jeffrey Evans, Matthew Cowan (Melissa), David Cowan, Dominic Robert (Jessica), and Martin Robert; and her great-grandchildren: Nicholas Collazo, Jacob Collazo, Harper Cowan, Kayla Robert, and Helina Robert. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Genevieve McGrath.

Family and friends are invited to honor Roberta’s life on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, located at 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020. Her visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service starting at 11:00 AM.

Roberta’s warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
