Roberta B. "Bobbe" Fiorito

Roberta B. “Bobbe” (Borgstede) Fiorito passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 84. Bobbe graduated from the former Norristown High School, Class of 1949, and Millersville State Teachers College in 1953. She started her career at Willistown Township Elementary School and finished with the Upper Merion Area School District, when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia for over 50 years where she taught Sunday School and was a superintendent for 5 years. Her daughter Eileen enjoyed taking her mom to see the Phillies play, to collect and learn how to make handmade marbles, and they made jams and jellies. Bobbe collected Angels and loved to read mysteries. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Philadelphia A’s Historical Society. Born in Hicksville, NY on March 10, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Sylvia E. (Nelsen) Borgstede. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Fiorito, who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Anthony Fiorito and his wife, Carol, of Blue Bell, PA and David Fiorito and his wife, Jennifer, of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Eileen Fiorito-Noll of Whitemarsh Twp., PA; two grandchildren, Katherine & Angelena Fiorito; a sister, Brooke Baldwin of Tarzana, CA; brother-in-law, Robert Pope of Audubon, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Pope; and a son-in-law, David T. Noll. Relatives and friends are invited to Bobbe’s Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:00 am. Her viewing will be Friday morning from 10 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bobbe’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, (M.S. Walk Team-Bobbe's Flock), 30 S. 17th St., Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
