Roberta C. Mcgee

Roberta R. (Gruninger) McGee passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Powerback Rehab in Phoenixville, PA. She was 85. Mrs. McGee was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as an I.T. professional for DLL Financial Services for over 25 years. Roberta was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church and a former member of St. Augustine R.C. Church, both in Bridgeport, PA. She enjoyed baking, was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and loved playing games, especially bingo. Most of all, Roberta loved spending time with her grandkids. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 30, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Clara R. (Bedley) Gruninger. Surviving is her loving family including four daughters: Catherine (David) Gardner, Roberta “Bebee” (Bill) Pastino, Jacqueline (Keith) DiLallo and Kimberly (Felix) Acosta; a stepson, Robert E. McGee Jr. (Sherrie); a stepdaughter, Sharon Slavinski; eleven grandchildren: Ashley, Alejandro, Elyse, Miranda, Ian, Matthew, Susan, Eileen, Robert, Daniel and Jared; seven great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Forler. The family will receive relatives & friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9 to 10:30 am; with her Funeral Service starting at 10:30 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Roberta’s memory to SS.
